F.A.Q.:

When I play it on a touch screen, the buttons are kinda janky...
Yeah... If you have trouble hitting buttons, try hitting them a bit more slowly/purposefully. I fixed the sound toggle problem though. I think. I'm never programming another thing for mobile again. lol

My animals are touching but nothing's happening...
If two animals appear to be touching but not merging, it's because Maya made me exclude their tails and ears from their hit boxes, so please blame her for all of your woes. I'm innocent. I just do what I'm told.

great game but in low gravity they keep bumping up to above the screen and resetting the board so... that's a lil annoying.

I've been sooooooo normal about this game and totally not playing it constantly whenever i have free time anyways im finally starting to get "good" at it and will for sure soon surpass that other commenter who has 56k high score soon

The mechanics are a lot more fun than Suika, although the game can run on for a bit long since you can keep resetting the board somewhat consistently

I stayed up til 2am last night for a new high score of 80K!!!! I probably could have gone further but it was way past my bedtime lol

this is such a fun game! but sometimes the animals get stuck over the edges.

Oh man!! This was the farthest i ever got!! Usually i only make it to 5k or 7k so this was a great run, and i finally got my first bear! Honestly i have Suika on my Switch and this game is way more fun because of the held item and the bump features, it makes it easier to keep going and therefore even more addictive lol. I also love Maya's art in this, it's so cute!! I found this game from her promoting it on her tumblr, though i doubt i can ever reach her highscore of 24k lol, but i will keep trying!! Thank you for making this usable on mobile so i can play on my phone and iPad, it works really well!

This is adorable and truly fun to play ! The only times I had trouble was when an animal would go over the bucket on one of the sides and get stuck.

The game seems a little buggy and doesn't always merge animals. It's also easy to merge spawned animals but spamming clicks.
I love the addition of the bump mechanic.

Animals' tails and ears do not have collision, so if they appear to be sitting close enough to touch, they may not actually be touching. However, if you notice two animals bouncing off of each other that should have merged, please let me know what hardware you're playing on (browser and operating system, also perhaps system specs)!

I actually did see this happen recently - I am playing on Firefox on Windows. I think it was a pretty rare case though. I believe it was two birds that knocked into one another, but specifically what happened was that they had *both* been newly created and were both in that initial ascent, which I assume is coded not to merge for a short time to allow the bounce thing? But it was bizarre since they did bump into each other and land apart!

Curious, curious. I actually coded it so animals *can* merge in midair. There's really no cooldown timer on any of that. However, usually that bug is caused by the browser not having enough memory for godot to process all of the physics interactions (the physics engine is pretty greedy and not well optimized apparently). Some of my friends found that it can occur occasionally if they have too many other tabs open in their web browser, though I think it was more often reported as an issue with Chrome rather than Firefox.

Oh, interesting! Yeah, I do often have a lot of tabs, so the memory explanation would make sense. (And I've only seen it happen once anyway, so not a big concern.) Fun game to play while listening to videos!
